Job Purpose: This entry-level position involves using professional knowledge to develop accurate cost per unit for current models, impacting sales pricing. The role typically collaborates with department and accounting management, with supervision and limited autonomous decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing monthly closing tasks related to sales and materials, presenting results to management.
- Analyzing sales and materials for six annual budget events and reporting findings.
- Creating sales breakdowns and profit analyses using analytical skills and accounting knowledge.
- Preparing parts and unit pricing quotes with supervision.
- Analyzing material usage and sales price variances under supervision.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, or an associate’s degree with 2+ years relevant experience.
- Knowledge of GAAP/IFRS, cost accounting, and general accounting principles.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and SAP.
