Role Overview: This position involves independently preparing, frying, packaging, displaying, and stocking deli products to support the store’s financial and customer service goals. Responsibilities include following safety, food safety, and guest experience guidelines, collaborating with other departments, managing inventory needs, and communicating tasks effectively.
Key Duties:
- Prepare and produce deli items according to production plans.
- Package, label, and merchandise deli products per program standards.
- Stock backroom with rotated and dated products.
- Work collaboratively with team members and notify managers about supply needs.
- Follow safety, PPE, and cleaning protocols, ensuring food safety and guest satisfaction.
- Perform basic math and communicate instructions clearly.
- Assist with tasks in other departments as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- One year of retail or related experience preferred.
- Ability to read, write, and interpret documents, with basic math skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong communication skills.
- Physical ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally, stand and walk for extended periods, and work in varied environments.
