Role Overview: This position involves independently preparing, frying, packaging, displaying, and stocking deli products to support store profitability and enhance guest experience. You will ensure compliance with safety, food safety, and guest service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and produce deli products per plan and production guidelines.
- Package, label, and merchandise deli items according to merchandising expectations.
- Maintain backroom stock with proper rotation and dating of cases/buckets.
- Collaborate with other departments to support store growth.
- Notify management when supplies need reordering.
- Follow safety, food safety, cleaning, and guest experience procedures.
- Perform basic math and communicate tasks clearly to team members.
- Support tasks in other departments as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- One year of retail or related experience preferred.
- Ability to read, write, interpret documents, and perform basic math.
- Detail-oriented with physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand, walk, and perform repetitive movements.
