Network Analyst

Role Overview:
A Network Analyst is responsible for analyzing and evaluating foreign network systems, including LANs, WANs, internet, intranet, satellite, and other data communications systems. This role involves telecommunications specialists who interface with computer and communication equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and prepare detailed network specifications, diagrams, and equipment configurations of foreign networks.
  • Identify vulnerabilities in network components such as modems, fiber optic cables, and telephone wires.
  • Assess risk factors related to classification, architecture, OS, services, connectivity, and bandwidth.
  • Develop research methodologies to identify intelligence gaps and improve analysis techniques.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of relevant government network analysis experience, or 5 years of experience without a degree.
  • Understanding of communication network layouts and recovery options.
  • Preferred: Knowledge of Foreign Command & Control Systems, red system analysis, and certifications such as CompTIA A+, ITF+, and Network+.
  • Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance is required.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to remain stationary for 50% of the time and occasionally move within the office environment.
