Position Overview: Under supervision, a Maintenance Technician B performs repairs and maintenance on diesel and non-diesel vehicles and equipment, including chassis, refuse bodies, hydraulic and electrical systems, engines, HVAC, suspension, drive train, and steering. Responsibilities include diagnostics, preventative maintenance, roadside service, welding, and fabrication to ensure equipment safety and efficiency.
- Diagnose multi-system issues using electronic tools

Qualifications & Skills: 3-5 years’ experience or graduation from an automotive/technical school, with proficiency in diagnosing and repairing gasoline and diesel equipment. Basic knowledge of work order standards and ability to perform inspections on heavy trucks and automotive systems. ASE certifications and a commercial driver’s license are advantageous but not required. Must hold a valid driver’s license.
