Supporting the safe and efficient production of ready-to-eat popcorn products, this role involves installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing and facility equipment within a food manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, steam, and electrical systems.
- Diagnosing equipment issues to minimize downtime and support production line startups, changeovers, and modifications.
- Calibrating and maintaining instrumentation such as temperature recorders, transducers, and electronic scales.
- Completing maintenance documentation and ensuring compliance with safety, food safety, and regulatory standards.
- Performing welding, basic fabrication, machine shop work, and facility maintenance as needed.
Qualifications and skills:
- At least 1 year of maintenance, mechanical, or technical experience in an industrial setting or an associate degree in a related field.
- Knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, steam, and electrical systems.
- Willingness to expand technical skills through training and continuous learning.
- Strong commitment to safety, food safety, and quality standards.
Physical requirements: standing, walking, climbing, kneeling, repetitive tasks, and lifting or moving materials in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
